We are Laxmi Pumps Group Company
Laxmi Pumps Group Company of Solapur – Kolhapur, was founded by visionary Late. Mr. Kalgonda A. Patil in the year 1945 with the inspiration and guidance of Padma Bhushan Late Dr. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil and Late Mrs. Laxmibai Bhauro Patil. The name ‘Laxmi’ for the company is a tribute to Late Mrs. Laxmibai Bhaurao Patil.

Our Inspiration
Padma Bhushan Late Dr. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil
Dr. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil (22 September 1887 – 9 May 1959), born in Kumbhoj, Kolhapur, was a social activist and educator in Maharashtra, India. A strong advocate of mass education, he founded the ”Rayat Shikshan Sanstha”. He played an important role in educating backward castes and low income people by coining the philosophy ”earn and learn”. He was a prominent member of Satyashodhak Samaj , founded by Mahatma Jyotirao Phule. The people of Maharashtra honored him with the title Karmaveer (King of actions) and the Government of India awarded him with Padma Bhushan in 1959. He was a father figure to our founder, Late Mr. Kalgonda A. Patil and was the guiding light and an inspiration to establish Laxmi Pumps Group.
Late Sou. Laxmibai Bhaurao Patil
Sou Laxmibai Bhaurao Patil , the wife of Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil was an equally influential figure to everyone. She was known as the idol of sacrifice as she had sacrificed all her gold ornaments and even the sacred mangalsutra to help with the welfare of the boarding founded by her husband, Dr. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil . Though she was the elder sister to our founder Mr. Kalgonda Patil, she played a mother figure and an inspiration to him. The name of our group “Laxmi” is a tribute to Sou Laxmibai Patil.
Late Mr. Kalgonda A. Patil
Mr. Kalgonda A. Patil founded the Laxmi Pumps Group in 1945 which was then known as “Laxmi Engineering” in Solapur, Maharashtra and further expanded in the Indian markets.
He was a visionary person who laid the foundation of our company and was an inspiration for the new ventures of the group.
Late Mr. Annasaheb Kalgonda Patil
Mr. Annasaheb Patil shouldered the responsibility of being the eldest son of Mr. Kalgonda Patil and hence joined the business at a very early stage in his life. He was a remarkable personality who dedicated his life and took forward the vision of Mr. Kalgonda Patil and established multiple ventures under Laxmi Group like,
